Don hails from Muncie, Indiana, where he graduated from Yorktown High School. He went on to Ball State University, then to Baptist Bible College and finally to Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, earning his Masters of Divinity. Prior to Cornerstone, Don served as the pastor of Inlet Community Church in Inlet, NY from 2006-2010. Don is married to Debbie, a native of the Texas Panhandle. They have been blessed with six children, Matthew, Kara, Joshua, Aaron, Emily and Titus.
